LED calculator

Goto the LED calculator website.

Enter the voltage of your power source. If you are using a 9V battery, enter 9 under Source voltage.

Enter the voltage of your LED. A standard LED (light emitting diode) is generally 2V 20mA.

Resistor values: 

1000 ohms equals 1K

1000K = 1M or one mega ohm
